The most important thing i learned about this topic is, When you drink and drive you risk your life it dont matter if you alittle drunk or a lot drunk, it dont matter if you had 1 beer or a lot of beers everyones body is different and everyones body reacts different to how much alcohol you have. the thing that surprised me the most was how much teenagers can drink and get away with it well some do.

this graph shows numbers of DUI in the past 2 years that it increases how much kids choose this for there life.

What i want to know about this topic

i want to know what teenagers think its okay to drink and drive? i want to know what can people do to stop drinking, and i want to know what goes threw people's head when they pick up a beer and than they think there okay to drive?

What I already know about my topic

I already no that i dont want to drink while im a teenager beacuse after what happen with my friend Fred and after that i started drinking again but than after than i myself almost got in a car reck and it would have took my life to, so now i learnd that i dont want to drink anymore beacuse i have my whole life to drink and have fun i just want to live my life right now and make good greads and not drink.
There are other ways in lofe to handle your problems you dont have to depend on a beer to help your problems!

The story behind my topic choice

Did you ever wonder why kids choose to drink to get ride of there pain? or why kids choose to drink and drive? or also why do kids what to drink, they have there whole life ahead of them to drink. When your a teenager yeah its the best years of your life because there is new stuff in the world and you get to try new things but dont let it lead to drinking, beacuse you could go to a party and have some drinks think your not drunk and your sobor but you get in a car and it could always change, your body says your sobor but your mind says your drunk.
I just wish come teenagers would think befor they pick up a drink, they need to realize what could happen, i had a friend name Fred and he went to a party last November and he had a few beers in his body, everyone said "fred you need to stay here you cant drive your drunk" and i was one of he people who told him not to go out but you no they never lessen to anyone. it was about 2:00 am sunday morning and Fred left, he was driveing a white ford, 4 door truck, i called Fred to see were he was because i told him to call me when he got home, well i called and called and called and no one answerd i was getting worryed so i called Fred's mom to tell her Fred will be late comeing home tonight and she needed to call him maybe he would answer for her! but no he did not amswer either. I went home that night and layed in my bed thinking why could i not have gone with him so i no he got there okay? it was about 3:30 am and i got a phone call from Fred's mom she was crying and screaming telling me "Fred is Gone!!!" i said what do you mean, she said he got in a car reck and he,well he is not with us anymore. I started crying and i told her i would call he back, i called my friend Mike and told him to come get me, it was about 4:20 by the time i got to Fred's house and i helped her calm down. i was thinking to myself that night, " its all my falt"!! and Fred's mom keep telling me " sweetheart its not your falt i promise" but i did not belive her because it was. Now because we did not take his kye's from him, he is not with us anymore.
